International Coffee Organisation
The ICO was set up in London in 1963 under the auspices of the United Nations
because of the great economic importance of coffee. ICO brings together seventy
eight exporting and importing countries representing 98% of world coffee
production and 83% of world consumption through international cooperation. It
administers the International Coffee Agreement (ICA), an important instrument for
development cooperation.
The mission of ICO is to strengthen the global coffee sector and promote
its sustainable expansion in a market-based environment creating diverse
opportunities in Coffee Industry & Commerce and allied sectors like Equipment
from Farm to Cup, IT enabled services, Tourism, Capacity Building etc.
Mr Jose Dauster Sette is the Executive Director of the International Coffee
Organization (ICO).

Ministry of Commerce & Industry Govt of India is entrusted with formulating and
implementing the foreign trade policy and development, promotion and regulation
of export oriented commodities like Coffee and attract investment in the allied
industry. MCI is the nodal Ministry for Coffee and Coffee Board of India under
Ministry of Commerce is the prime mover of Coffee sector in India.
Coffee Board of India
The core activities of Coffee Board are primarily directed towards R&D, transfer of
technology, quality improvement, enhancing productivity and production, thereby
extending development support to coffee growing sector. Coffee Board is also
committed to promotion of Coffees of India internationally and increasing domestic
consumption.
India Coffee Trust (ICT)
India Coffee Trust is a Forum for Coffee Growers, Exporters, leading Corporate Brands, Equipment
Manufacturers and Experts. India Coffee Trust is the result of a general consensus
among the stakeholders of the Indian Coffee Industry to create a non-profit industry
based organization whose primary mandate is to organise India International Coffee
festival aimed at connecting International buyers with Coffee growers to boost
coffee exports as well as promote coffee consumption in India.
MM Activ Sci-Tech Communications
MM Activ specialises in curation of international events in the fields like
Agri-Food-Biotech, Nanotech, Green Energy, Aerospace, Defence, Public Transport, IT
& Electronics. MM Activ has successfully organised six editions of India International
Coffee Festival for India Coffee Trust and Coffee Board of India since 2007.
